AIGA Colorado Board
President 06/2015  »  05/2017
Membership Director 06/2014  »  05/2015

As President, I led team of 50 board members in promoting and elevating the design profession in the community, providing events and mentorship/mentor opportunities for all levels of membership. During my tenure, AIGA Colorado membership consisted of  700+ people that spans the state of Colorado, with a presence in Denver, Colorado Springs, Boulder and Durango. Managed chapter finances and bookkeeping for the executive team, approved budgets for programming, worked with Advisory Board for long term chapter goals. During this term, I volunteered approximately 10 hours per week.

Served as chapter Membership Director for the year of 2014, and volunteered with the National Board as Chapter Advisory Council member for 18 months supporting chapter leaders on the west coast after my presidency had ended.

May 2021-June 2022, serving as Interim President to support the community as it evolves, and will be serving continually as Ex-Officio/President Emeritus to train the incoming president and support the new board as they move forward in June 2022. Serving on the board has given me the skills to support designers at all levels of their career, as well as personally benefited by giving me the leadership skills to run my own business. In my role as Interim, the time commitment has been varied, as we emerge from covid, but still have a community and non-profit business to support. Current AIGA Colorado Membership is close to 350 individuals, and I look forward to elevating the new board to support those members.
